# Reusable workflows

Describe the rules once and prepare the same kind of result again and again.

## Capture a process that works

A reusable workflow is a precise request you can use again: inputs, decision rules, exceptions and the shape of the result. Test it on one real example first, then write it down. Demonstrating clicks alone does not guarantee error-free runs on any website. In the company workspace, workflows are versioned and carry an acceptance check for the result.

## What to write into it

- Where to find the input and how to recognize new items.
- Exactly what to select, calculate or change.
- What to do about missing data, an expired sign-in or a changed website.
- Where to save the result and how to avoid duplicates.
- Which step needs your decision.

Example request

> Write a reusable procedure for the task we just finished. Include the inputs, rules, result checks and exceptions. Mark variables with square brackets. Do not create a schedule yet.

## Example: a weekly operations brief

The inputs are authorized material: files, pages or systems the agent signs in to in its browser. The agent prepares a summary of changes, open tasks, deadlines and questions for the team, with a source for every item. Uncertainties and unreachable sources stay flagged. A person reviews the brief before sharing it. This example does not claim a ready-made universal connection to email, calendars or company systems.

## Test another run

Run the workflow with different input and compare the result with what you expected. Note what needed help and which exceptions recur, adjust the instructions and keep the original version for comparison. Test again after the source website changes. Do not rerun a failed run until you know what already happened. A saved workflow does not run at a set hour by itself; that is what a schedule is for.
